Table Runner For All Seasons

This self-edged table runner can be used by itself or with seasonal inserts to add color and pizzazz to your dining decor. When finished the runner makes a self-mitering outside border that frames the inner decorative lining. With the addition of interchangeable/reversible seasonal inserts, you have endless options that will complement your dining décor year-round.

In class we will construct the table runner which is approximately 14” x 38”. We will also discuss various ways to construct the seasonal inserts (e.g., single fabric, patchwork, embellishments, reversible, etc.). If time allows, we may be able to start construction of the inserts. In addition, we will review how to calculate fabric amounts for various styles of inserts and varying sizes of table runners should you wish to make a larger or smaller runner or even placemats.
