Sewing Room Tour
October 7, 2017 @ 8:45 am - 5:00 pm
$20.00Saturday, October 7, 2017
Five of our members have agreed to let us see where they create, and the sewing rooms we see will be from some of the most creative people we know. Featured will be:
Shirley Dozier — who has a Drapery business the “The Rockin’ Bobbin” and has a very organized sewing room,
Diana Quinn — who has a Longarm quilting machine that she is delighted to show us that space
Deanne Smith — who has taught many of us the finer tricks of fitting and sewing
Marie Yolande — couture sewer who trained in France with the Masters
+plus one, or maybe two other surprise sewing rooms that you will want to see for yourself.
We will gather no later than 8:45 a.m. to board a van for the tour. We will stop to eat at a wonderful little restaurant around noon (lunch not included in price). All that go on this tour MUST travel on the van as several of the neighborhoods we visit do not have extra visitor parking. $20.00 per participant will cover the van, insurance, & gas.
Registration is limited to 10 (the capacity of the van).
The meeting place to board the bus will be given to you after you register.
