Annual Meeting with speaker Sarah Gunn

October 15, 2016 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Free

Sarah Gunn, creator of the sewing blog, Goodbye Valentino is a resident of Spartanburg, South Carolina. Her commitment to living with creativity and purpose is demonstrated through a life of many roles and responsibilities. Sarah is wife, mother, arts advocate, and former symphony orchestra executive director and classical musician mentor. Seeking excellence in all of her endeavors included a pursuit to acquire a stylish wardrobe without spending an excessive amount of money. This inspired Sarah to renew the sewing skills she developed as a teenager and passionately sew her own clothes. One year after creating Goodbye Valentino, Sarah became affiliated with Mood Fabrics, the fabric store of TV s Project Runway by representing the store’s online sewing network.

Featured in Vogue Patterns Magazine as well as other sewing industry and regional publications, Sarah was voted as a Top 50 Blogger for Burda Style in 2014 and 2015, and is recognized for hosting an annual Ready-to-Wear Fast. She continues to inspire thousands of women to sew clothes.

Sarah’s recently co-authored her first book with Julie Starr, (co-author) The Tunic Bible, scheduled for publication in October 2016.
